Welcome to OHeavens

How did OHeavens come to be? It all started in 2001 when a friend of the family asked us to come see her new Otterhound puppies. We were smitten at first sight, and we eventually ended up with a brother and a sister from that litter.  Our love and passion for the continuation of this breed became so strong that we decided on developing a breeding program of our own, but what do we call ourselves was the true question? One day, we were sitting in the kitchen and watched our girl, Taffey, lie down on her side with her head stuck as far as it could go under our country buffet, thrashing her tongue wildly trying to pick off a potato chip that one of the kids had dropped.  In our astonishment and laughter, mom screamed "OHeavens Taffey what are you trying to do"?! With our love for faith, collection of angels, and the OHeavens statement being used over and over with our dogs.... OHeavens Otterhounds was born! With 25 years of experience in the breed and in the show ring, please enjoy getting to know a bit more about us, our kennel, and our hounds!
