How did Oheavens come into being? It all started in 2001 when a friend of mine asked me to come see her new Otterhound puppies. We were smitten at first sight, and we eventually ended up with a brother and a sister from that litter.  Our love and passion for the continuation of this breed became so strong that we decided on developing a breeding program! But what do we call ourselves was the true question? One day, I was sitting in the kitchen and watched our girl, Taffey, lie down on her side with her head stuck as far as it could go under my country buffet, thrashing her tongue wildly trying to pick off a potato chip that one of the kids had dropped.  With my astonishment and laughter I screamed "OHeavens Taffey what are you trying to do"?! With my love for my faith, collection of angels, and the OHeavens statement being used over and over with our dogs....OHeavens Otterhounds was born!
