The Heavens Litter - April 2011

In the spring of 2011, we stood in our vets office as one by one newborn puppies were handed off to be cleaned and warmed by the nearest pair of open hands. Myself, my daughter, and a handful of vet techs all worked to get each puppy roused and thankfully each one began to squeak and squirm with life!
The 'Heavens' litter was born via cesarian section on 13 April 2011 with a total of 6 healthy puppies, 3 boys and 3 girls. This was a dual sire litter between Barker and Gabriel with our Dazzle, 4 puppies belonging to the former and 2 from the latter. This litter produced 2 AKC Grand Champions, 1 AKC Champion, 1 UKC champion, and a working therapy dog who would visit hospitals, schools, and correctional facilities! |
