The Science Litter - July 2019

When our Jojo came of age and completed her health testing, we began the journey to find her the perfect match. We knew her virtues and faults, and with a little digging we were able to find a very handsome and very accomplished boy by the name of 'Chili' (Hunter's Laird Chilton CD TD RN CGC TDI CKC-CD VO).

Kitty Sweeney, Chili's owner, was pivotal in the success of this litter and was always elated to receive updates from every one of her boys' progenies. She was a legend in her own right regarding the time and effort she put into titling her dogs and proving the true versatility of this breed. Kitty sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2022 and Chili followed her soon after. We feel that the Science litter holds a piece of Chili and Kitty's memory and we are honored to uphold her legacy.

Seven puppies were whelped on July 7th, 2019 in textbook fashion and to this day are still one of our most precocious, sassy, and colorful pack of pups. Jojo and Chili made sure to impart an unapologetic and driven fearlessness and cunning that would make any hunt master proud. This litter produced 1 AKC Grand Champion, 2 AKC Champions, and 1 UKC Champion, including Beaker who is the mother of the famous 'Beakers Dozen'!
